Road closures around St Paul’s

Ave Maria Lane is now closed to traffic between Warwick Square and Ludgate Hill as part of preparations for the event and local diversions are in place.

A number of other roads in the St Paul’s area will be closed between 4.30pm and 10.00pm today, May 7th, and disruption in the area can be expected.

The following roads will begin closing to traffic from 4.30pm:

Ludgate Hill East of Ludgate Circus through to New Change, and all side roads leading off those roads, Ave Maria Lane, Warwick Lane, Carter Lane, Old Bailey.

Local diversions will be in place but there is expected to be some disruption to traffic due to the timing of the road closures.

The event begins at 8.00pm and will include a number of fly-pasts and some ceremonial gunfire.
