Some of the powers:

  • Detain an offender for up to 30 minutes until police assistance arrives.
  • Confiscate alcohol, cigarettes and tobacco from young persons
  • Seize vehicles used to cause harassment alarm and distress.
  • Issue fixed penalty notices for dog fouling, litter, cycling on footpath, graffiti and fly-posting.

Unfortunately we are not currently recruiting for PCSOs. Please vist our website or www.policecouldyou.co.uk for recruitment updates.
