1. How long does the training last?

35 weeks

2. Do I get paid whilst in training?

Yes, you receive full pay during training.

3. Where is the training held?

Each force is responsible for training it's own student officers. Training is held at Bishopsgate Police Station and the City University, Northampton Square, EC1.

4. When will I be allowed to specialise?

Once you have successfully completed a 2 year probationary period.

5. How long does the Recruitment Process take?

Between 3-6 months.

6. Where will I be stationed?

Initially you will be posted to either Snow Hill or Bishopsgate Police Stations.

7. Will I have to live in Central London.

No, you can live within a 40 miles radius of Central London (applications to live further out can be submitted)
