Special Constables are trained officers who offer their services
to the City of London on a voluntary basis. Special Constables in
the City of London come from all walks of life and bring with them
excellent skills that they have gained in their day jobs.
As a Special Constable you will be expected to work for a
minimum of four hours per week.
After satisfactory completition of your training, you will have
the same powers as a police officer. Your uniform will be exactly
the same but the letters SC which will appear alongside your
shoulder number.
