Debts of service users

If a service user has less than £19,000 in savings or capital a financial assessment will be conducted in order to get information on their income and expenses. This information is used to work out the contribution they will pay towards the cost of the services they receive. The financial assessment is conducted by the CAB on behalf of Social Services.
