The City Property Advisory Team (CPAT) is a
specialist unit of advisors serving the City's businesses and its
property industry. The team is a facilitator between City of London
departments, the property industry and the end users, providing
information on all properties and development opportunities
available in the City as well as advice and support in overcoming
problems in the process.
CPAT's prime
objectives are
to
- ensure that businesses find and retain
City premises, most suitable for their needs
- assist key institutions to remain and
thrive within the City
- work with clients and their
advisors
- be the central point of contact for
property assistance and information
- advise on planning, highways, ownership,
rating and other property issues - through links to other City of
London departments
CPAT's services
include
- responding to property
enquiries
- generating activities through contact
programmes with developers, agents, owners and key
occupiers
- advising on key issues such as
conservation areas, listed buildings and retailing in the
City
- providing a comprehensive property
database and research
CPAT is also involved in monitoring,
analysing and influencing property market developments and trends.

- strategic planning matters including

- cost of archaeology and other
constraints for City property
developments
