Disabled facilities

Every effort will be made to welcome and accommodate visitors with disabilities.

Parking

Some disabled parking spaces are available at Market level for vehicles displaying a valid disabled badge. If all the disabled parking spaces are occupied then please contact the duty Constable at the main entrance who will make alternative arrangements for you.

Access

From the disabled parking area there is level access into the Market Hall and there is lift access to the 1st floor.

Mobility

Wheelchair assistance is available. Prior notice would be appreciated but is not essential.

Visual impairment

An escort service is available for blind and partially sighted visitors. However, because of the food regulations guide dogs are not allowed on site but we shall be pleased to care for your guide dog at the main entrance for the duration of your visit. Prior notice would be appreciated but is not essential.

Deafness

A member of the Clerk & Superintendent's staff is a competent signer. Prior notice is required to ensure that member of staff will be available.

Toilets

Disabled facilities are available on both the ground and 1st floors of the Market building.
