The City of London’s Local Strategic Partnership
The City Together is a partnership involving key
public, voluntary and private sector service providers, alongside
representatives of the City’s business and residential communities.
It was set up in 2002 to oversee the development of the City’s
Community Strategy by identifying at a strategic level,
measures aimed at improving the quality of life of the City’s
communities (ie businesses, residents, workers and visitors).
The City Together extranet
The City Together has launched an extranet, where information
relevant to people directly involved in The City Together's Board
or sub-groups is stored. This is a password-protected area, which
can be accessed by Board and sub-group members
here.
Membership of The City Together
The City Together was originally set up as a group of
approximately 20 key service providers and representatives of the
City’s communities. As The City Together has developed, it
has decided to adopt a two-tier structure. This involves existing
members of The City Together (as at 11 June 2004), being
referred to as members of The City Together’s board. It
also involves the creation of a new membership tier, to be known as
“Associate Membership”. Service providers and community groups can
apply to become an Associate Member of The City Together, subject
to their compliance with The City Together’s terms of
reference.
Download the terms of reference (52kb)
(The City Together’s Board reserves the right to refuse
an application for Associate Membership.)
The main purpose of Associate Membership is to encourage greater
partnership working. To apply to become an Associate Member of The
City Together, please email us at
