Any business planning to store explosives such as fireworks,
other pyrotechnic substances and articles and small arms ammunition
are required by law to have a current explosives registration or
licence.
Generally, most small retailers will only require the premises
to be 'registered' with the local authority. This is because the
amount of stock that they store is relatively small. If you wish to
stock more than 250kg of fireworks or other types of explosives,
please contact the Licensing Service directly.
