Early Intervention

The Children’s Workforce is undergoing change locally and nationally, to ensure that every child and young person, regardless of their background or circumstances can claim the following:

  • are healthy
  • are safe
  • enjoy and achieve
  • make a positive contribution
  • achieve economic well-being

This means all partner organisations providing services to children, young people and their families, have agreed to work towards the actions in the Children & Young People’s Plan. This includes sharing information more effectively to protect children and young people from harm. The key tools for Early Intervention are:

  • Common Assessment Framework Form
  • Information sharing
  • Lead professional
  • Multi agency working
  • Team around the child
  • Training
