Ashtead Common Management Plan


HaymakingThe City of London believes that local people should be consulted on the management of Ashtead Common. To this end, the Ashtead Common Consultative Committee (which meets twice a year to discuss the management of the Common) includes representatives from members of the City of London, English Nature, Mole Valley District Council, Surrey County Council, Ashtead Residents' Association, Ramblers' Association, British Horse Society, Leatherhead & District Countryside Protection Society, Ashtead Common Volunteers, Surrey Wildlife Trust, Lower Mole Countryside Management Project and the Cyclists' Touring Club.

The Site Management Plan 2005-2010 is available either as the entire document or in chapters. This is a working document, used by staff use to manage Ashtead Common on a daily basis.
