City Gardens Walks Leaflet

There are three trails that lead you around the hidden City Gardens. These are available to download below.

Trail 1: St Paul's and Beyond

This trail leads you from St Paul's in the heart of the City, to the historic Cleary garden, along the Thames Riverside walkway to Monument and the secret churchyard of St Dunstan's in the East.

Trail 2: Postman's Park and Surrounding Gardens

Beginning at Barbican underground station, this trail takes you on a journey through the West of the City. Highlights include West Smithfield, Postman's Park, Noble Street and the Roman Wall.

Trail 3: Finsbury Circus to Tower Hill

This trail takes you on a tour from the City's largest garden – Finsbury Circus, past the ‘Gherkin' on St Mary's Axe to Seething Lane and the infamous Tower Hill.

Green Roofs Research Advice Note

This is a joint publication by the British Council for Offices (BCO) and the City of London. It has been produced in furtherance of the City of London Biodiversity Action Plan. Its objective is to introduce planners, developers, architects and facility managers to the concept of the green roof.
