Getting to Epping Forest

BluebellsParts of Epping Forest are very well served by Public Transport. Chingford Station can be accessed by an overhead train from Liverpool Street (approximately 25 minute journey) and is well served by local buses. Chingford Station is just a five minute walk to Chingford Golf Course and the popular Chingford Plain area. The Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge is just a 10 minute walk from Chingford Station. The Central Line has stops at Wanstead, Snaresbrook, South Woodford, Woodford, Buckhurst Hill, Theydon Bois and Epping which are all convenient for accessing the Forest. The Victoria Line stop at Walthamstow Central is well placed for accessing the Southern Forest as is the overhead train stop at Wanstead Park.
