Wanstead Flats Playing Fields are situated in the
southern area of Epping Forest, near to Wanstead, Leytonstone High
Road, Forest Gate or Manor Park underground or mainline rail
stations. Throughout the year, Wanstead Flats is shared between
footballers, model flying clubs, cyclists, horse riders,
dog-walkers, joggers and families picnicking and enjoying Alexandra
Lake.

Wanstead Flats parkrun
Wanstead Flats parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am, at
Harrow Road, E11 3QD. This weekly, timed 5k run is free of charge
for anybody that registers for a parkrun barcode. See

Facility hire
One hundred and fifty acres of land is set aside for
organised sport, with approximately 60 football pitches suitable
for mini soccer, small-sided, junior and adult football. Wanstead
Flats Playing Fields offer three sites at Aldersbrook Road
(E12 5HH), Harrow Road (E11 3QD) and Capel Road (E7 OJU).
