The City of London Corporation is preparing a new plan called
the Local Development Framework (LDF). It will contain the policies
and proposals for planning the City. The LDF will eventually
replace the
Unitary Development Plan. The LDF will contain a series of
documents that together set out the City's planning
strategy.
An outline of the LDF, including the timetable for its
preparation, can be found in the LDF Bulletin.

vision for the City and an overall strategy for future
development. The City is consulting the public in the
preparation of the Core Strategy and the next stage of consultation
will be held in January 2008.
