Supplementary planning guidance on open spaces

The City of London Unitary Development Plan 2002 contains policies which resist the loss of existing open spaces and encourage the provision of additional open space wherever possible. This guidance provides detail on the location, size and type of open spaces in the City.

The guidance was issued in draft form for public consultation between December 2003 and January 2004. The City of London carefully considered the comments it received before amending the document and adopting it on 18 May 2004.
