The City of London is drawing up a new plan for the Square
Mile, called the
Local Development Framework and will guide decisions on
planning applications, environmental improvement and traffic
management.
The City of London wants the communities within the Square Mile
to have a say in the planning decisions that shape its future. So
it has published its proposals for public consultation on preparing
the Local Development Framework and deciding planning applications
in the City. These proposals are set out in the Statement of
Community Involvement, which was adopted in July 2006.
