Conservation areas
Conservation areas are designated to safeguard areas of special
architectural and historic interest. There are twenty six
Conservation Areas in the City.

Listed buildings
There are nearly 600 listed buildings and other
structures in the City. These are protected for their
architectural and historic interest.
