The City of London Corporation, working in partnership with 17
other London boroughs and private and voluntary sector
organisations, actively contributes to seven regeneration
partnerships operating in the
City fringe area.
These partnerships devise and implement strategies to bring
about the long term economic development and regeneration of
specific geographical areas. The City of London contributes
resources, expertise, and representation on steering groups and
boards (both at officer and elected level) to the partnerships it
is involved with. We also contribute to the delivery of particular
projects and perform the role of Accountable Body for the Pool of
London Partnership and Contracting Body for the City Fringe
Partnership - taking responsibility for employing staff, providing
accommodation and distributing government funds.
