Access Team


The City of London is committed to creating an accessible environment for everyone. The Access Team ensures that action is taken to meet the needs of disabled people in relation to building design and the external environment and, through the Access Adaptations Programme, funds access improvements to City of London-owned public buildings and to the City's streets and open spaces.

The Access Team can give advice on the statutory requirements relevant to the provision of access for disabled people. A summary of relevant access legislation and technical design standards is available in Designing An Accessible City. If you would like to receive a copy in print, large print, Braille or on tape please contact the Access Office.
