City and Hackney Safeguarding

The City of London Corporation jointly leads the City and Hackney Safeguarding Children Board (C&HSCB) with neighbours LB Hackney, to ensure children in the area are safe, and convenes a Safeguarding Subcommittee of the safeguarding board to provide a specific focus on keeping children safe in the City. Key partners of these groups are the City of London Police and the City and Hackney Primary Care Trust. The first full meeting of C&HSCB was held in March 2007.
