session and allows you to put questions to trained library staff
who will be pleased to help you.

libraries, archives, national e-Government servces and much
more.
Helping to bring readers together, Read is a new service that
provides access to online resources related to books and reading.
It is a “one-stop shop” to good websites about reading and books
and provides links to other online services where users can discuss
their reading with others.
Online resources for library members
Registered members of our lending libraries
can access, from the comfort of their own homes, fascinating
online sources such as the Oxford English Dictionary, the
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online and the Directory of National
Biography.
Access could not be easier,
simply click here to view online resources for members,
choose a title and enter your library membership number into the
appropriate login box. Alternatively, visit one of our lending
libraries for more information.
E-audiobooks from One Click Digital
Library members can now download audio books for free. All you
need is a computer (PC or Mac) with broadband access and you can
download the selected e-audiobook, play it on your PC, or transfer
it to your MP3 player, iPod, or even your mobile phone or
smartphone.
You can access this service by creating an account for yourself
at
One Click Digital and entering your membership number (prefixed
by CLP).
If you already have an account with EBSCO, please be aware that
your account will not automatically migrate to One Click Digital
and EBSCO users will have to create a fresh account with One Click
Digital when EBSCO ceases to be our e-audio platform. We apologise
for any inconvenience this may cause and are
happy to answer any
questions you have about the changeover.
