Situated on the south side of Camomile Street near to Bishopsgate, the Library offers a good range of fiction and non-fiction books, especially paperback fiction. It has spoken word, music, film and TV recordings as well as a good stock of large-print material, maps and travel guides, children's books and recordings, all for loan.

Free access to the internet and on-line reference materials is also provided together with scanning and printing facilities and a self-service photocopier.

Each Friday there is a Bookstart Rhymetime session for babies and toddlers and the Library also has a reading group for adults which meets once a month on Monday evenings between 6 and 7 p.m. - new members are always welcome but please contact the Library in advance to confirm the date of the next meeting.

The Library and its services are accessible.
