If you have an enquiry relating to Guildhall Library and its
collections you should first email us at
printedbooks.guildhall@cityoflondon.gov.uk to
seek assistance as most enquiries can be answered as part of our
general enquiry service.
For extensive and some urgent research our fee-based service may
be more appropriate.

How do I submit an enquiry to search@guildhall library?

to submit your research request (you will be asked to log on
first.
New customers can register, free of charge). Once your request has
been received staff will investigate your area of interest and
email you with the cost of carrying out the research.
If we are unable to answer your enquiry we will endeavour to
supply alternative sources of information.

What will it cost?
Our hourly charge is £50 + VAT, including delivery by email, fax
or post.
We are happy to accept the following cards: Visa,
Mastercard, Maestro or Delta.
(Please note that we do not accept American Express or Diners)
Sterling cheques can be accepted if they are made payable to The
Chamberlain of London and drawn on a UK bank.
NB No charges are incurred until you confirm
that you want us to proceed with the work as quoted.
