Library special needs

All our libraries are wheelchair accessible, have enquiry points equipped with induction loops, offer Textphone access, and have wheelchair accessible computer workstations equipped with specialist software (Jaws & Zoomtext) for people with sight difficulties. Our three lending libraries (Barbican, Camomile Street & Shoe Lane) have talking and large print books for loan and Barbican Library provides a home library service to City residents unable, because of age or disability, to visit our lending libraries.
