Membership scheme
Users of the Golden Lane Leisure Centre now have the opportunity
to either use the centre on a casual basis or to join our new
membership scheme. Users can choose between three tiers of
membership:
Centre membership
- priority 14 day booking on table tennis, badminton and tennis
courts, (non-members can only book seven days in advance with
courts paid for 48 hours in advance).
- book the courts via telephone, in person or online using the
web.
- a 10% discount when booking a dry facility.
- one week priority booking on all new courses.
- receive centre information by their preferred method - email,
telephone or by post.
- receive details of all promotions at the centre.
- receive a bi-monthly news letter.
- a 5% discount on all merchandise sold at the centre.
- entitlement to purchase an Aqua Card on an annual or monthly
basis.
Aqua card
In addition to the benefits of the Centre membership card, the
Aqua card entitles the bearer to:
- unlimited use of the swimming pool during public session
- unlimited use of the showering facilities
- aqua-aerobic classes
- 10% discount on swimming pool party hire
- 25% off sub-aqua come and try sessions.
Swim and Gym card
In addition to the benefits of the Aqua card, the Swim and Gym
card entitles the bearer to:
- unlimited access to the gym at Barbican YMCA (subject to
opening times)
- £1 discount on basic classes
- £2 discount on yoga or pilates classes
- discount on various promotion offers.

Key
Standard rate - those not entitled to receive any discounts as
stated
Resident and employee - City of London Corporation resident or
employee
OAP - aged over 60 years
Concession - those who are under 16 years, in full time education,
unemployed or those in receipt of full state benefit.
Proof of concessionary status must be shown on purchase. The
validity of concessionary status must cover the duration of the
card.
