The City's Community Strategy has eight themes. Each theme has
its own vision, objectives, actions and performance indicators (to
measure its success). Details of these can be found in the main
Community Strategy documents. To give you an idea of the breadth of
issues covered by the themes, the vision of each theme is set out
below:

- The City of London will build on its success as the world’s
leading international financial and business centre.
Good Transport for a Thriving City
A Clean, Pleasant and Attractive City
- The City of London will be a clean, pleasant, healthy,
attractive and sustainable environment for present and future
generations.
A Healthy City
- Health care and preventative services will be accessible to all
sections of the City’s communities.
A Safer City
- The City of London will remain a safe environment for
all.
A Vibrant and Culturally Rich City
- The City will be a dynamic and culturally rich environment,
offering an enhanced range of arts, culture and leisure
opportunities for its workers, residents and visitors.
An Inclusive and Outward Looking City
- The City of London will be fully accessible for everyone, in
particular those who are currently excluded, and will contribute to
local, regional and national prosperity
A Skilled and Learning City
- A broad range of skills development and learning opportunities
will be available to all sections of the City’s
communities.
