The City of London ward elections

These are held to elect Members of the Court of Common Council – the City of London’s main decision-making body. They take place across all of the City’s 25 wards.

Ward elections in the City take place every four years. Elections took place in March 2005 and the next ward elections are due to take place in March 2009.
