City Economy Digest

City Economy Digest analyses the latest economic trends in the Square Mile. It looks at key macroeconomic indicators (both official and survey data), placing the financial and related business services sector in its context within the overall UK economy. It provides estimates of actual and forecast levels of economic activity in the City of London, aided by research from the consultancy Oxford Economics. It also focuses on trends in property, labour and financial markets to provide further information on the strength of economic growth in the Square Mile. 

City Research Focus

This periodical informs interested parties of research work recently completed or currently under way. It serves as a medium for facilitating contact between the City of London and the wider community of researchers and users of research. In addition, the periodical usually includes a statistical analysis of a subject relevant to the City of London.

City Business Review

City Business Review complements City Economy Digest. It provides a broad overview of recent earnings announcements and developments by major financial and related business services firms present in London. Its primary focus is on banks, given their importance and regular, highly-detailed reporting of results. All major sub-sectors – insurance, legal services, accountancy, management consultancy, fund management, maritime services and financial market infrastructure – are covered, however, usually on an annual basis.

City Agents Quarterly Office Demand Survey

On behalf of the City of London Corporation, Experian carries out a quarterly survey of City-based property agents about activity and developments in the City property market. The main focus of the periodical is analysis and comment of changes in enquiries, deals and rents. It charts Agents’ experiences over the past quarter and gauges their expectations for the coming quarter.
