Keeping you informed

Information is important when developing security arrangements or business continuity plans. The City of London Corporation and the City of London Police recognise this, and have implemented systems to assist with the flow of relevant information to businesses in the City.

Pager alert scheme

The City of London Police operate a scheme whereby security and crime related information can be relayed, via pager, to businesses in the City. Originally launched in 1993 as a major incident early warning system, the scope of the scheme has expanded and is now a valuable means of communication between police and the business community.

For more information the scheme, including the latest improvements, visit the pager alert scheme website.

Security emails

From time to time the City of London Corporation has information regarding events in the Square Mile which may affect the security of business and their employees based there. One of the main methods used to circulate this information around the City is email. Information may be circulated to inform subscribers of matters which may assist them in maintaining business security and preventing crime. Subscribers may receive emails advising them of campaigns supported by the City of London Corporation which are aimed at reducing crime, related to individuals and businesses, in the City.

If you would like to subscribe to the security email system, enter your details below and click 'subscribe'.
