Swimmer in poolThe Sports Development team arrange regular accredited courses in order to enhance individuals' capabilities in their chosen field.

Royal Lifesaving Society  

RLSS National Pool lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) courses are held on a regular basis. If you wish to become employed as a National Lifeguard, this is the essential qualification you will need.

Golden Lane Leisure Centre runs two National Pool Lifeguard courses each year in July and October. For more information call 020 7250 1464 or email sportsdevelopment@cityoflondon.gov.uk.

First Aid at Work

A four-day first aid at work course - goverened by the Nuco training scheme which is HSE approved - is offered at various times throughout the year.

FA Level 1 Coaching Course

Millwall Community Scheme deliver coaching activities for young people in the City and as part of this programme will organise FA Level 1 coaching courses. This course will be offer to City residents or workers in the City for free if the participant is willing to use their qualification and deliver 10 sessions for young people in the City.
