Stoke Common public consultation event

The City of London is holding a ‘drop-in’ consultation event to discuss the future management of Stoke Common on Saturday 15 December from 1.30 - 8.30pm in Fulmer Village Hall. 

The event is an opportunity for the local community to play a role in shaping the future management of the important 205 acre site.  The event has been carefully designed to ensure that anyone wishing to participate can arrive and leave as suites them best.  Refreshments will also be available.

Visitors will be able to:

  • Get an update on the land transfer process of Stoke Common
  • Find out more about the City of London Corporation and meet the new managers of Stoke Common
  • Give their thoughts on the current management of the common
  • Play a part in the development of a new management plan for the common

Stoke Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and important public open space, was officially transferred into the ownership and protection of the City of London Corporation from South Bucks District Council on 31st October 2007.
