The City of London Festival celebrates Swagatam Summer at Hampstead Heath on Sunday 22 June.

Enjoy a day of family activities with an Indian influence in a beautiful green outpost of the City.

Hang a summer wish on the wishing tree or create your own piece of the giant Rangoli artwork.

Try out some Bollywood dance moves, offer your hands to the Mehndi artist for intricate henna design, have your face painted, get stuck into jewellery-making, or indulge in an Indian head massage.

Bring a rug and a picnic and join the afternoon of music and culture at the Parliament Hill bandstand.

12.00 noon - 1.00pm Bombay Baja Brass Band
A big and brassy show-starter from one of London's favourite Indian brass bands. Bombay Baja has created its own unique style by combining popular Indian melodies with the powerful rhythms of the dhol.

1.45 - 2.30pm Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee and guests
Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee's explosive music unites hip-hop, drum n'bass and raga beats with Indian classical, jazz and funk melodies

3.15 - 4.45pm Taala

5.00 - 6.00pm Taala with the Vasda Punjab Dancers
A rhythmical journey from Punjab to Southall with bhangra beats, jazz and hip-hop styles, accompanied by the lively dancers of Vasda Punjab.
