Four honoured by Her Majesty the Queen

Four long-term servants of the City were honoured by her Majesty the Queen in her birthday honours list last week.

Michael Snyder, the former Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee and current Deputy Chairman was awarded a Knighthood for services to business and the City. Sir Michael stood down from his Chairmanship in April.

Jenny Adams, the former director of Open Spaces was awarded an OBE, as was Yvonne Burne, the former headmistress of the City of London Girls School.

Jenny Adams, the former director of Open Spaces Keith Knowles, the former Chairman of the City's Police Committee, was awarded an MBE.
