The Hound of the Baskervilles
- summer fun at The Temple
You don’t need to be at the Edinburgh Festival to see a quality
theatrical performance. Come to The Temple at Wanstead Park on Bank
Holiday Sunday (24 August) with a picnic and a rug.
For one evening only, visitors will see the acclaimed travelling
theatre company Illyria’s splendid adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles. They are currently
performing this classic mystery at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The Independent praised this production as ‘Inspired’ and awarded
it five stars.
Watch as Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr Watson tackle the
most baffling case of their careers. Illyria promises a cheeky yet
surprisingly chilling production that suits all ages at the City of
London’s Wanstead Park.
Tickets are available from the Epping Forest Visitors Centre,
please call 020 8508 0028 for more information. Get a further
