The Family and Young People's
Service promotes learning, development and employability
according to the strategic priorities of the Education
Committee.
Adult residents and those working in the City can benefit from
adult
education courses and advice, and careers guidance. For younger
people,
Sir John Cass's Foundation Primary School takes pupils aged
from 3-11 years, whilst the
youth
service offers many stimulating opportunities across a range of
activities.

Integrated working
Improving outcomes for children and young people, so that every
child achieves their potential, involves changes to culture and
practice across the children's workforce. These new ways of working
shift the focus from dealing with the consequences of difficulties
in children's lives to early intervention and effective prevention.
