The Square Mile has 25 wards each of which are represented by elected councillors or Members(known as 'Common Councilmen'), including one elected Alderman. Ward Members are voted on to the Committees which supervise the services to residents, businesses and visitors β and direct the other work of the City of London Corporation.ββ

Ward communication
The Members of each ward regularly keep in touch with their constituents. This can range from surgeries to ward club meetings and also includes ward newsletters. These are published twice a year to keep voters in the ward up to date with current issues facing the ward and the City. Printed copies are sent directly to registered voters or are available for download for those for prefer an electronic version.
