Post Office closures

Post and Go machines The Post Office has announced decisions on the future of Post Office branches across London following a six-week public consultation.

It has been decided, despite substantial feedback from the City Corporation and its stakeholders, to close the Crown Post Office at Ludgate Circus, 16-18 New Bridge Street , EC4 . It has now been confirmed that this branch will close on 22 April 2009.

However, in response to customer feedback a Post Office Post & Go self service postage facility will be provided from Monday 20 April. This will operate from adjacent premises which can be accessed via the side entrance in Tudor Street.

The new facility will incorporate four self-service kiosks, allowing customers to weigh their items, buy stamps or postage labels and post letters or packets.
