Building Control

Featured sections

The City Of London District Surveyors Office deals with Building Control throughout the square mile.

Since 1667, with the controlled rebuilding of London after the devastating fire of 1666, building work has been our responsibility, and it’s been ours ever since.

With our office no more than twenty minutes from any City site, we’re ready to offer on-the-spot assistance and advice drawing on centuries of expertise.

From the smallest projects to landmark developments, we’ve played a part. We cover any size of project, from minor building works to multi million pound projects. If you are embarking on a scheme we encourage you to contact us as early as possible, there is no need to wait until the application is ready.
