The City’s largest lending library with an excellent General Library, one of London’s most significant Music Libraries, and a Children’s Library plus study areas, listening booths and practice pianos.


Camomile Street Library

The Library closed for the last time on Friday 4 March 2011 as the building is being redeveloped. Plans for a temporary replacement are in hand and will be publicised as soon as possible.

Guildhall Art Gallery is the home of the City of London Corporation’s collection of works of art, presenting permanent displays, a lively programme of special exhibitions and the remains of London’s Roman Amphitheatre.

Admission

General admission to the Gallery and Amphitheatre is free, although there will be charges for special exhibitions: Adults £5, concessions £3, groups of 10 or more £4 per person. Exhibitions are free to children under 16, members of the Art Fund and Friends of Guildhall Art Galllery.
