Post Office closures

The Post Office has announced decisions on the future of Post Office branches across London following a six-week public consultation.

It has been decided, despite substantial feedback from the City Corporation and its stakeholders, to close the Crown Post Office at Ludgate Circus, 16-18 New Bridge Street , EC4 .

However the date of closure of this Post Office branch will be delayed whilst Post Office Ltd explores potential provision of alternative access points for customers in the area to post mail. These could include the provision of some self-service mailing facilities and Post Office Ltd is currently in discussion with various interested parties. The City Corporation is continuing to press the Post Office to ensure adequate and accessible facilities are made available in the Ludgate Circus area.
