Welcome to Adult Social Care Services in the City of London. We provide information and care services for people with a range of community care needs, such as:
People with learning disabilities
People with mental health difficulties
People whose ability to perform everyday activities is limited by a permanent physical disability and/or a sensory impairment or long-standing illness
Older people over the age of 65, especially those who have been diagnosed with dementia.
Personalisation is a term that underpins the way the City of London delivers its social care services to local people. It means giving people the choice and control over the services they receive: in other words, giving people the opportunity to choose the support they feel best suit their needs.
We have not changed our values, we have just changed our practice to better support our values.
The City’s social care team works to protect vulnerable people to enable them to live as independently as possible for as long as possible within their own home.
If you need advice and support or believe you could be entitled to funding in the form of an individual budget then get in touch with us for an assessment to see if you're eligible. If you are eligible, after a financial assessment, your individual budget would pay for the services you choose to improve your quality of life, mobility and wellbeing.
