Main office
Our office at Stanford-le-Hope is close to London Gateway Port, and deals with all port health matters including food and feed imports at London Gateway, Tilbury, Purfleet, Thamesport and Sheerness, and London City Airport, as well as infectious disease, illness or death on board a vessel or aircraft.
We operate an emergency out of hours service to report infectious disease, illness or death on board ships and aircraft when the Main Office is closed.

The emergency number must not be used for general import enquiries or container release requests. These enquiries can only be dealt with during our office opening hours.
River office
Our office at Denton is responsible for shellfish and the River Thames, including the Thames estuary.
