Volunteering in the City

Are you a City of London resident interested in volunteering in the community?

The City of London's volunteering service is run in partnership with CSV, who recruits volunteers of all ages, skills and interests to support the community.

Volunteer roles are varied and there are many different opportunities.

Some of the roles available are:

  • Befriending and supporting older people (shopping, hairdressers, etc. teaching IT skills)
  • Running and  assisting in community classes and activities
  • Reading activities with primary age children,
  • Library Volunteers
  • Volunteer support workers at City Community Centres.
  • Youth Volunteering opportunities during the Summer

Additionally

Bespoke volunteering opportunities are available and created where a volunteer is looking for a particular role or if a person wishes to set up a new volunteering project or opportunity.

Relevant training and supervision are also provided where a role requires it.
