After school clubs take place immediately after the school day. They provide a place where children can come to develop their social, physical, creative and intellectual skills. The staff are trained in play work and provide a curriculum of activities that include arts and crafts, drama, sports and excursions. The emphasis is always on fun!
Cass Play Centre After School Club
The after school club at Cass Playcentre provides childcare for children in school years 1-6. It offers children a wide variety of fun activities that encourage social and personal development and continued learning even after the school bell has rung!
When the children arrive at the Playcentre they are given light refreshments and are able to enjoy free play activities such as group games, arts and crafts e.g. painting, cooking, collage etc., floor games, aerobics, group discussions, games and sports like Softball, Baseball, Cricket, Football, Basketball etc.

Holiday play schemes run during the school holidays and offer extended day care, typically open from 8.30am - 6pm. They meet Ofsted’s safety and quality standards.

Collection of children
All children must be collected by the parent, carer or nominated person by 5.45pm. The person nominated to collect your child/children must be at least 16 years of age.
Please note that a late collection fee of £10 per quarter hour is charged after 6pm.
Please note that parents who have registered their children since 1 September 2012 only need to complete the Days Required form and the registration forms below.
