Allocations Policy
We are in the process of reviewing our Allocations Policy, which sets out who is eligible to become a City of London tenant. Tenant surveys have been conducted, and focus groups, and the feedback will help to produce our revised policy. A draft of this policy will appear on this page during October 2012 for wider consultation.
Asset Management
We are currently reviewing our 'Decent Homes' standard and have conducted a survey with all tenants and leaseholders. The results of this survey will help us to produce our new standard, a draft copy of which will appear on this page during Autumn 2012.
Past consultations
STAR Survey
Every three years the City conducts a major tenant satisfaction survey. This is a postal survey sent to all tenants and measures satisfaction with our housing services. We carried out this survey in 2012, 2009 and 2006. The 2012 survey was carried out in January and February, and the results can be found here: star-social-landlords-satisfaction-report-2012.pdf (1.13mb)
The STAR survey is the most important survey we carry out because it identifies the service areas we need to improve. We ask the same questions on every survey so that we can chart how we are doing every three years, and it allows us to compare ourselves to other housing providers.
We are currently conducting a follow-up consultation to try and find out why some tenants do not think we take their views into account.
Repairs survey 2009
In 2009 we conducted a short postal survey to all of our residents on their priorities for a repairs and maintenance service. The results of this survey helped us to select a new contractor. Please click on the link to view the final results:

In addition, interested residents have formed a repairs working group. Residents and staff now meet regularly to monitor the repairs services.
