Motorcycle parking on street

Bicycles

Free bicycle parking is provided in designated sites on-street throughout the City and in the six City of London owned car parks.

On street

Bicycles should only park in designated bays
Bicycles should not be left for longer than 24 hours in a bay
Bicycles should not be left chained to street furniture in undesignated areas as they may be removed

Solo motorcycle parking

Free solo motorcycle parking is available in many locations on-street as well as off-street in the six City of London owned car parks.

On street

Find the motorcycle bays (28kb)

Always check the signs to ensure that parking is available
Do not park if a bay has been suspended from use
Motorcycles should be parked fully within the bay
Motorcycles should not be left for longer than 24 hours
Combinations such as tricycles are not permitted; they should be parked in a standard pay and display bay with payment
Parking on the footway including alleyways, irrespective of private land, is not permitted

In City of London car parks

Motorcycles should be parked within the designated areas
You do not need a ticket but should manoeuvre your motorcycle around the barrier
