High Beach Cricket Club has Saturday league cricket in the Herts & Essex League, Sunday friendly cricket as well as midweek and indoor winter cricket.
Reformed in 1948, just after the 2nd World War, High Beach Cricket Club has grown from the humble beginnings of a few friends who wanted to play friendly weekend cricket, into the established club we see today.
Members can taking part in the club’s enviable social calendar and play on one of the best batting wickets in West Essex along with enjoying the picturesque views over Epping Forest, East London and beyond.

Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking: it makes something we can all do twice as effective. Nordic Walking uses poles in order to add two major benefits to walking. The use of poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs, and the poles help to propel the walker along; this means the walker works harder than usual yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier.
