City Information Centre

Attractions in the City welcome over 5 million visitors each year – and the visitor information centre by St Paul’s Cathedral helps people make the most of their time here.

If you need directions, information about the latest events, suggestions about what to see and do, or tips tailored to your specific needs, come and speak to our multilingual team – they can offer expert advice about all aspects of London.

The City of London Information Centre (CIC), located between St Paul’s Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge, is staffed by a multilingual team speaking 12 languages between them.

Opening hours

Monday to Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm
Sunday 10am-4pm

The CIC is the only officially recognised Tourist Information Centre in central London. In 2012, the Corporation of London and VisitEngland started a new partnership that sees the CIC extend its remit to provide information on destinations throughout England including those which are playing host to Olympic venues.

So as well as delivering ‘services as usual’ with a world class welcome to the City and London, the team can provide inspiring ideas on how to get the best out of trips outside of the capital and showcase the rest of England to its visitors.
