For the second year in a row, shopping thoroughfare Cheapside closes to traffic for the day (Saturday 1 December) so shoppers can enjoy peaceful festive purchasing, with great discounts at loads of stores.
One New Change shopping centre on Cheapside will be offering discounts at over 25 stores and there will be a food market in the nearby historic Guildhall Yard where you'll find mouth-watering food.
It's a fun-filled day for children too and there’ll be lots of family fun, including ice skating on a mini rink and live reindeer on Cheapside!
Leadenhall Market will be open (it's usually closed on weekends), where there will be choral music and some of JK Rowling’s famous characters milling around.
Free rickshaw rides run between Cheapside and Leadenhall to save aching feet.
